ABOUT US
ELEMENTARY
During the formative elementary school years, our goal is to instill personal responsibility, Christian values and character, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills in all of our students. Our instructional program includes Bible, math, science, language arts, social studies, art and culture, and entrepreneurship, taught in Spanish by national teachers. Besides their core classes, elementary students receive thrice weekly English classes, bi-weekly physical education, and weekly chapel. We evaluate our students on academic progress, personal conduct, and effort and participation.
SCHEDULE AND LEVELS
We currently offer first through sixth grade, with plans to add secondary education starting in 2023 with seventh grade. We limit our classes to 25 students to maintain a low student-teacher ratio. The elementary school day runs from 7:00 am to 12:45 pm, Mondays through Fridays.
CURRICULUM
We have developed a wide plan of study for all grade levels that honors the standards established by the Ministry of Education and other universal standards of education, promotes active learning application, and integrates a Biblical worldview.
We use a variety of textbooks and materials for our school subjects, including but not limited to Santillana books for mathematics, language arts, social studies, and science. We incorporate La Biblia en mi Vida Bible Curriculum, and for our English as a second language program we use comprehensive materials available through ESL KidStuff membership and other age-appropriate resources.
